It is safe to say that Harshit is mainly a 135-142k bowler. At times things may fall in place and he could end up registering 144-145 but that’s a rarity.
it is best to calibrate expectations.

In 2024 and till mid 2025, Harshit was often bowling entire overs at 143 k to 146 k in every format. And not just occasionally but frequently l.

He is either not fully fit or someone in the TM has told him to bowl within himself for more swing / control.

There is just no chance someone from the this team would go n tell him to bowl slowly or within himself. Definitely not Morkel and neither Gambhir.

Up n down pace is just a limitation of his bowling action. And sometimes it’s psychological. He started this series - first over bowling 144k and gets rewarded. And then never does that again after the first over? It’s inexplicable.

If you have listened to the Hindi commentary, Abhishek Nayar was saying how, when he was part of the TM, he had kept telling Harshit to add the outswinger to his repertoire.

And it is not a bad thing but often, when done without any break from the game, it messes up one's action or ball release and pace reduces too.

Prasidh  bowls the centurion deKock with a 141 k yorker.

What a comeback spell !

3 big wickets and economical too.

He is bowling fuller abd bowling better.

Prasidhs speeds have been more impressively consistent all 3 matches compared to Rana. Control might not be there always but still.
