singhvivek141 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Ashok is slowing down...cant drop his head. Need to slip in a fast yorker. Be aggressive MK55, express bowling and Mosher 3
express bowling Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Ashok 3rd over 2 slower balls Others at 138 k and 139 k. Mosher 1
MK55 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Ashok has bowled just one quick ball that was full on the stumps. That can’t happen.
Suhaan Posted July 26 Posted July 26 These motherchords drop catches like dihatis and then gobble off trundlerses singhvivek141, express bowling, Need4Speed and 1 other 4
SecondSlip Posted July 26 Posted July 26 It’s a miracle that India won 3 back-to-back ICC trophies with this club-level fielding unit. Drop catches destroy the morale of bowlers who work so hard to get wickets, especially in white ball cricket which is dominated by batsmen. tapandrun 1
Lone Wolf Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Ashok probably lost his motivation for the day... Can't help but feel bad for him. Bowled well, fielded well but nothing to show for it. Mosher and singhvivek141 2
singhvivek141 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Abhishek should bowl more often. He turns the ball and at times his deliveries actually swing/drift as well. That will ensure even if he fails with bat, he can be an asset. He was already an allrounder, can let that skill go to waste. Become a Jayasuriya type allrounder. Last 1 year has been amazing for him...from nowhere in the scene in domestics to playing for India. He has achieved so much by proving himself. If I am a bowling coach, I will advice him to bowl at full throttle his yorkers. There are runs behind. Edited July 26 by singhvivek141 Lone Wolf and tweaker 2

Well the problem is that the “bowling” coach is Laxman who’s just looking for reasons to drop him. singhvivek141, Lone Wolf and express bowling 1 2

Once that happens then you feel you are alone in the match. No one to talk to. That causes another issue. A captain specially need to talk to his bowlers, who are newbie. Thats where Ganguly was special. express bowling 1

Don't think he is going to get picked vs BD/Afg series. Had that catch been taken.. things might have been different afterwards Mayank Thakur have sealed the deal for now Edited July 26 by Lone Wolf singhvivek141 1
express bowling Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Want to see more top of off directed quick balls by Ashok. Mosher 1
singhvivek141 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Dropping catches reminds me of famous catch dropped by Jadeja of Pankaj Singh's bowling in England test. Not that I was a fan of Pankaj, but poor chap couldnt even pick a wkt after that. There were videos when he went to dressing room after the day and threw his cap off in anger. It upset him totally, and so did his attention. tweaker 1

He never projects any positivity but just nervous / tension like energy everywhere be it interviews or on the field.

Have you seen his PC, he talks as if he is Clive Llyod / Ricky Ponting and have won 2 back to World Cups MK55 1
singhvivek141 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Mayank is bowling quick today. 146 in 3rd over, rhythm is on the money. Need4Speed and Mosher 2
