Nation before religion. Religion is invented by some clever folks to control people. Let's fall in to that trap like the innocent Muslims.we as a country got problems of our own lets solve them first.else it will be like the padosi country where they use religion to justify stupid acts.

After seeing some of the pics of ISIS warriors , i think it would be fun to carry a gun and roam around like a boss than sitting in front of some laptop and coding. :bandit:

I think people in India did raise their voice in the past, but got their fingers burnt in 1991. And if i am not wrong, for the sri lankan tamils, their tamil identity was always more dominant than their hindu identity and because of this they still have some support in tamil nadu.

But Hinduism is not a "religion". :dontknow:

And people should be free to support who ever they want to as long as they realize the importance of not inviting trouble for themselves or for their fellow citizens.

Indians first. Nations who look at religion first have always suffered. Nations who look at nationality first are doing ok
but time to time Hindu parties have raised their voice for Pakistani and Bangladeshi Hindus. Why not Sri Lankan Tamils?. They were also Hindus.

Firstly LTTE was more of an ethnic organisation than a religious movement......LTTE leader Prabhakaran and his trusted men were Christians mostly I beleive. Also not sure about this but DOn't know what the majority religion of the Ethnic Tamils is to begin with,The only Srilankan Hindu Tamil I know is Murali the cricketer-Other Tamil cricketers like Arnold and Matthews are Christians I beleive. So this wasn't a Religious issue to begin with for Hindus to unite........But yeah if you talk from a human rights perspective,Yes India should have rasied it's voice. But Seculars are more concerned about Gaza than neighboring Srilanka

if those Tamils were Muslims, would they have still ignored it as an ethnic clash and not religious ones?

Because Hindus generally put their nation in front of their religion. And generally are against invasion, occupation etc. Moreover Hindus aren't like other religions. It's a way of life and not a religion in true sense.
