We can't expect any spinner to be successful overseas straightaway.He has shown signs that he can do well if there is little help in pitch like Durban or Lords.Should be batting at 9 though. That said Ashwin should play as 5th bowler along with 4 pacers as he can bat well enough for a no.7.He'll take time to be successful with the ball too but atleast can contribute with bat/field in the time he develops as a spinner overseas. Jaddu can be and should be in the squad as a backup

3 first class triple hundred. I think in Indian domestic we have to assess on what kind of pitches they bat against what kind of oppositions etc .

Umesh will come as well for the odis.with pishant injured' date='umesh can replace him in the next match.we can play a four pace attack with [b']bhuvi,Aaron,umesh,shami all capable of picking wkts and 3 of them can reverse swing on a dry oval pitch or play 2 spinners,3 pacers if the pitch assists spinners. Have no doubts thats India needs to go in with 5 bowlers,5 attacking bowlers actually to win the mqtch

Yeah that could work really well. I like a 5 bowler line up problem is our batting sucks big time too... so the big 6 bats or 5 bowlers debate is not settled to me
