This guy is borderline useless and Indians are making him look like he is a Kumble or a Warne. Little bit more discipline by Indian batting and someone needs to show him the door. the guy at best is way below average. In his defense at least he has a clean action.

Overrated? Lol! Here in Eng everyone's laughing spin masters getting blown away by Moeen Ali not once but twice.
Get serious. You guys are proud because he is from your community but reality is that this is an political (not merit based) exhausted Indian cricket team. The right team will finish him off, he is not that good.

Current generation of young Indian and I guess Pak batsmen also seem to be very poor against spin ... too much T20 emphasis.
T20 has nothing to do with it. You take this captain and vice captain out and the new team will finish him off.

He is a very disciplined bowler. Is he as skillful as someone like Swann? No. But he is a good enough bowler who keeps a very good line and length and gives it a good flight at a slow speed. I'm impressed by him.

Within his limitations, he bowls really well. 1. He bowls fast and imparts enough revolution to get it to spin. (Jaddu is fast but is unable to spin it cos he doesn't impart enough revolutions) 2. He just has 2 deliveries. Straight one. Spinning one (slight spin). Add in the pace and he is able to effectively target both edges of the bat. With all being said, getting owned by him was disgraceful.

He understands the conditions and is a disciplined bowler. He offers good flight, and bowls good lines and lengths. What else do you expect from an off-spinner? He needn't have an X-factor like Tahir or Chuckmal. He is effective, within his limitations. And that is what matters

He is a pretty good spinner. He has not really been rated yet by anyone, so do not see how he is overrated. All 19 wickets cannot be fluke. He has gotten better and more confident over the series. The way he mixes up his lengths is something to be learned for our spinners.

hes not as fast as Jaddu,neither as slow as Ashwin.Just the right pace.Being home spinner I guess he knows the right pace for these tracks. Still nothing alarming stuff.Just some poor batting
