yoda Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 ODIs and test matches are a different ball game. These clowns were bowling peaches most of the time and yes our bats were playing blindfolded as well.

But it's puzzling that those guys can't bat, can't bowl once the whites go off and the colors come on. They're giving up without a bloody whimper. Wimps can't take the pressure of ODI cricket - can't score fast and their bowling is green-track bullying.

Clowns.[/quote'] :haha: WE lost by innings inside 3 days and you're calling THEM clowns :haha: This is the problem with Indian fans mindset, win a couple of ODI games and we start thinking we are test champions!
vvvslaxman Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 If you ask Alistair cook to remove all the slips and Gully by 4th over we would do well in Tests as well :cantstop: In one dayers no body persists with 4 slips and a gully for sustained period of time. Also this pitch was so sluggish.

Also this pitch was so sluggish. Exactly. Don't be carried away by our batsmen scoring 50s and 100s. If they had Anderson and Broad bowling 6 over spells each with 3 slips and a gully, it would have been a case of 66/6 in the ODIs as well.

Midfielder Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The difference was we had two guys fail consistently, Kohli and Pujara. In ODI maybe one is failing not all. Indian bowling was never the issue.
