Ok let me explain what I see in that Video......I see a Flex of clearly more than 15degrees and at the Time of delivery' date='[b']His Arm is not Straight enough and it is clearly over 15 degrees as visible to the naked eye. Now I don't get and will never get this extension BS which is just a rule of convenience to support a couple of chuckers....For me a Straight overarm action is legal,everything else is chucking. Simple question-If Someone had bowled that deliverY in Gully cricket in India Would that be NoBall or not?

At the time of the release, the arm NEED NOT BE straight. That's the freaking point. The angle is NOT calculated from the straight arm position. The angle is calculated from the bend you initially have. I can start with a 23 degree bend and still bowl a legal ball if I don't extend my arms 15 degrees FROM that 23 degree bend. Bend your elbow over 15 degrees is not clean action. Simple as that.... Whether he uses the bend to derive pace / spin / rotation is too difficult to say... Saqlain's arm is bent at around 30 deg from the time he starts the action till he delivers the ball... Clearly looks illegal.

That's not how its calculated. See my above post. Try to chuck a ball without extending your arms. You can't. The power comes from the extension of the arms NOT the bend. More extension = More power which is why there is a limit on the extension. 15 degrees is the limit which is calculated taking the bent position as 0 degrees.

i guess the other offspinner from Pak could also be a chucker... and yes the right decision is made by ICC for Ajmal.. one could observe thru naked eyes that He chucked ALL. i also beleive that Lankan fast bowler TALINGA is also a clear chucker...

On his reported deliveries (which were around 30 deliveries). In my view, they should also test every bowler's normal non reported deliveries (a few of them) so that we can get an idea of where they stand when they don't make special efforts.

30 deliveries were reported out of around 30 overs he bowled in that match so it is once an over. And I am pretty sure his other non-reported ones will be over 15 degrees too

I know. All his 30 deliveries averaged around 30 degrees with a few crossing over 40 degrees. Odds are his normal ones would have exceeded the limits too. Just felt having the data about his unreported deliveries would let us know (for sure) whether his action would have been legal or not if he bowled to the best of his ability. Probably they tested that too and we don't know the results of that. When doing a comprehensive test, its better to go all the way. If we have the data list containing the normal delivery extensions of reported bowlers (Sena, Shillingford, Ajmal, etc), it might be useful down the line. Bowlers with similar actions will know whether they stand any chance even if they bowled to the best of their abilities. Anyways, was just a thought. I guess the domestic filtering that will be put in place now (by all countries) will take care of all that.

Some of those are such blatant chucks.The one at 2.05 is as blatant as they come. The excuse of Padosis is that he is gem of a person and brought joy to Pakistan and etc etc etc and hence should be allowed to carry on. This guy is very cocky and thinks his comments are all joke etc.I for one is glad that such a blatant chucker is banned.Such a disrepute to the game this type of players are.Its almost cheating.
