Laaloo
hey guys can anyone add munaf patel in the super selector Link to comment
DesiChap
No more than 2 pacers will be played anyways. Zak And Munaf will play No big loss for Indian pitches. Link to comment
Bongosamaj
Play Bhajji, make it into a crumbler and we win. Link to comment
MundaPakistani
Big loss! I read some where that IND might be going in to the game with 3 spinners. Link to comment
coffee_rules
Big loss! I read some where that IND might be going in to the game with 3 spinners. Considering how Harris was successful in Pakistan, it is not a bad option after all. Makes sense now. Munaf/Pathan are half bowlers compared to RPS/Sree. Pathan is not even in the side. It makes sense to have more class spinners. Having Kumble and Kotla historically favoring spinners, it makes sense to go with the better lot. I doubt India will go with 5 bowlers, so we will see 2 spinners and 2 pacers. Most likely team: KKD,WJ,RD,SRT,SCG,VVSL,MSD,AK,HS,ZK,MP Link to comment
kablooee87
square turner then? Link to comment
MundaPakistani
"However, India's bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad didn't seem to have an idea about the injuries during the team's practice session at the Feroz Shah Kotla." so the bowling coach didn't know that his bowlers are injured?? maggot_brain
They should give Pathan another go. The guy's on a comeback and obviously wants to do well in tests. I don't want to see three spinners. Same old nonsense, we'll never be a world class team if we rely on spinning wickets. Link to comment
Sachinism
god damn munaf is back in the team they should open with ganguly instead lol Link to comment
fineleg
Munaf Patel!!! Sheesh... its a toss up to choose between Craparkar (who can field) and Munaf Patel (who maybe once in a blue moon bowls better than AA - but MP cant field nor bat). Question: How many catches will MP drop in the Test series? :D Link to comment
DesiChap
This will be the Munaf redemption tour :haha: Link to comment
bharat297
Be positive ... this is a good chance to test out or bench strength . Munaf and Pathan now have their chance to impress. Link to comment
SlenderFrame
Mohammad Asif ruled out for the series. Thats a proper blow to our chances. india will be preparing turners in any case. 3 spinners in the squad Link to comment

Its one of those BS that BCCI comes up with to include some "star" in playing XI. In this case is Yuvraj Singh Link to comment

Guest Hiten.
Harbhajan Singh you mean? You know how it works in India. They'll kick a bowler out to bring a batsman in. So i am guessing its for Yuvi. You might be right that its for Bhajji Link to comment

Will they go fit or with niggles? In Aus - we cannot make do with Ishant "nurture" Sharma or Munaf "me too" Patel or VRV wide Singh! Link to comment
