FischerTal Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Yes but Indian pitches a are dry and low with sg ball it will assist reverse swing. Pujara handled jimmy Anderson's reverse swing in India quite comfortably. Roach is nowhere in Jimmy's class. Shouldn't be a problem
vayuu1 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pujara handled jimmy Anderson's reverse swing in India quite comfortably. Roach is nowhere in Jimmy's class. Shouldn't be a problem The pujara that handled anderson was oozing with confidence and form, roach may not be as good as anderson, but he isn't that bad, plus him and Taylor are a lot quicker than Jimmy and broad and have a good in swinger, atleast 3 of our batsmen have weakness against inswing .
Vilander Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Taylor to own Vijay? Dhawan might do well:hmmm: Turn coat, will Pawn you at end of series.
undisputed chap Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Series is in India not england Roach bowled very well on WI pattas. He is better then div 2 bowlers.
FischerTal Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Roach bowled very well on WI pattas. He is better then div 2 bowlers. Yea against bd batsmen.
SLICKR392 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Roach bowled very well on WI pattas. He is better then div 2 bowlers. Roach or any shyte Windies bowler won't do jack to us in those conditions.
undisputed chap Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Roach or any shyte Windies bowler won't do jack to us in those conditions. Roach has bowling average of 27 on WI pattas.
Insidious Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Roach has bowling average of 27 on WI pattas. You Think WI pitches are patta?? Do you know what Ishant sharma did to them in those pitches last time ?
SLICKR392 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Roach has bowling average of 27 on WI pattas. Pattas? Kuch bhi to back your claim? Might have a little burst in India but that might just be it. They looked miserable the last time and its gonna remain the same this time around.
Austin 3:!6 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Zzzz...will pile up runs against WI. Does that make him special? Rohit Sharma avgs 245 in India against WI last year :cantstop: Ashwin got a century and guess what the most pathetic batsman India ever produced aka MS Dhoni has a double century at no.7 in these conditions. Lets face it both Chepu and Kohli are not that great as we ICFers think they are. Settle for mediocrity boys :nice:
undisputed chap Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 You Think WI pitches are patta?? Do you know what Ishant sharma did to them in those pitches last time ? They are pattas compared to sa, england, nz & aus. No proof required.

Its actually more rationable to argue that these guys are special than trusting done and dusted Test player like Sehwag. Weird what 1 series could do. We are more feeble and feckle-minded than those Poms.
SLICKR392 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 They are pattas compared to sa' date=' england, nz & aus. No proof required.[/quote'] Okay. So Roach will maul our batsmen over in the coming series.
undisputed chap Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Okay. So Roach will maul our batsmen over in the coming series. If he can do it on wi pattas he can do it on indian pattas too.
SLICKR392 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 If he can do it on wi pattas he can do it on indian pattas too. He's up against Indian bats on Indian pattas. No contest.

Austin 3:!6 Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 a dhoni fan accusing others of settling for mediocrity :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: If Dhoni is sign of mediocrity, you don't undertsand cricket properly or simply trolling. Yes he struggles overseas but guess what every damn player in our line up does. Atleast with his mediocre technique he was one of our most reliable batsman in recently concluded England series.

We are more feeble and feckle-minded than those Poms. Both are not even fit enough to tie Sehwag's shoe laces..lets get that straight. Atleast not yet and we have to wait to see how they go in future. Kohli's test avg. is around 38  and Pujara's ever declining from 60+ has come down to 48. They might have talent but talent is not enough without substance.

They might have talent but talent is not enough without substance. Dhoni was utter rubbish in 2011 series and in the SA series as well, he failed when we needed him the most and scored few odd 1-2 50s. How on earth is would you not rate that as a failure but the recent debacle of probably India's 2 best bats, rated by some respected pundits of Cricket. Only you would rate these 2 so darn low and use terms such as 'not fit to tie Sehwag's shoe lace'. Few months back you were lauding Kohli, give me one good reason why you downgrade him now? Because of this 1 series? C'mon man! Its quiet typical of Indian fans to suit up and run behind the old guard when the youngsters are failing and vise versa. Kohli and Pujara are mediocre. Geez Austin! Paki-esque criticization. Cricket pundits praise these 2 despite their failures for a reason. Calling them mediocre and 2 youngsters who just started off their career not fit to tie shoe laces of a batsman is plain trolling.
