What a gem of a bowler always generous to the opposition. Hatsoff to his supporters. When playing for india & gets smashed supporters claim dhoni is not using him properly, not letting him settle into a rhythm blah blah blah When playing under other captains & gets smashed supporters claim pitch is not suitable for fast bowlers. When other pacers claim wickets they come out saying they were lucky picking up wickets of hacks. he has one of the worst records of fast bowlers with average of 40+ & ER of 6+ still people claim he is the best phast bowler in india. Lol

You still don't get it. I'm saying both of the below are true: A) Umesh is a mediocre LOI bowler B) Dhoni mismanages fast bowlers I'm not using point B to justify point A, but you are using point A to justify point B.

had a solid A tour of Australia. I will play him in tests. But yesterday highlighted again why he is not the answer in the limited overs. Its a good thing right if we pick him only for the tests? That means he picks up less injuries and is fresh. Less chance of burn out

Umesh does not use his head while bowling. He does not have a plan. Another worrying factor with Umesh has always been his lack of bounce inspite if his high pace and decent height. He also lacks a bit of fire to succeed at critical times and grab the moment. Dhoni has handled Umesh really badly but that does not absolve Umesh of the above mentioned blames. These 2 are separate issues. Umesh should be better in tests. I know it is not fair to judge a test bowler by t20 performances. But, it must be said that Umesh's approach, attitude and willingness to learn has been disappointing.

Lo this is what i was saying when umesh gets smacked around suddenly fanbois says flat patta. Ishwar & nehra outbowled him. When umesh got smacked by BD for 28 in 4 overs while binny picked up 6 wkts & mohit 4. Was that pitch flat too. It seems umesh no matter what the conditions & the pitch always bowls on pattas according to the supporters while other bowlers bowl on some other pittch covered with green grass
