philcric Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 This is ridiculous. Do you think they cook such stories out of air? They will have their pants sued out of them this blaming the source always is exactly what the Pak guys do when the news doesn't please them. TOI maybe the worst source on the planet but they still can't cook up false stories on this level Well played :winky:
velu Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 indian Hospitality industry really sucks.. even in small hotels like A2B , if we ask vegetable curry instead of pickles , many servers wont give  glad that dhoni took a stand :proud: but its shocking to hear that CSK booked 180 rooms .. 180 * 5K = 1 crore per day app for hotel alone.. for a 2 week tournament we might spend 50 crores including all the expenses :woot:
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Just a customer dont book 180 rooms. And BCCI has been booking ITC for sometime now.IPL teams in Kolkata stay in ITC.Earlier it was Taj.So if you want such high profile guests plus such big business you have to provide for the demands. How about following the rules instead? Dhoni is an arrogant guy. Didn't he say the same about groundsmen ?
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 indian Hospitality industry really sucks.. even in small hotels like A2B , if we ask vegetable curry instead of pickles , many servers wont give  glad that dhoni took a stand :proud: but its shocking to hear that CSK booked 180 rooms .. 180 * 5K = 1 crore per day app for hotel alone.. for a 2 week tournament we might spend 50 crores including all the expenses :woot: I doubt any rooms at Kakatiya are availabke for 5k.
Yoda-esque Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 How about following the rules instead? Dhoni is an arrogant guy. Didn't he say the same about groundsmen ? They didn't break any rules. They asked ,hotel refused, they moved out.Simple as that.
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Good on hotel for kicking this guy out lol..
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 How about following the rules instead? Dhoni is an arrogant guy. Didn't he say the same about groundsmen ? Dhoni didnt break any rules. He made a request/demand.The hotel foolishly refused.Even an avg rate of 10k per room means ITC lost crores.Plus tye negative publicity. If i was an ITC share holder i would be pissed off.
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Dhoni didnt break any rules. He made a request/demand.The hotel foolishly refused.Even an avg rate of 10k per room means ITC lost crores.Plus tye negative publicity. If i was an ITC share holder i would be pissed off. I am glad they kicked him out. :cantstop: I won't have problem if i were a shareholder. It only increases the reputation.
undisputed chap Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 indian Hospitality industry really sucks.. even in small hotels like A2B , if we ask vegetable curry instead of pickles , many servers wont give  glad that dhoni took a stand :proud: but its shocking to hear that CSK booked 180 rooms .. 180 * 5K = 1 crore per day app for hotel alone.. for a 2 week tournament we might spend 50 crores including all the expenses :woot: Velu we should open a hotel near a stadium.
Yoda-esque Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I am glad they kicked him out. :cantstop: I won't have problem if i were a shareholder. It only increases the reputation. If this story is true, I don't think they "kicked" him out, I think he left and left them with a few empty rooms.
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 If this story is true' date=' I don't think they "kicked" him out, I think he left and left them with a few empty rooms.[/quote'] Their world doesn't revolve around Dhoni.
Number Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 If this story is true' date=' I don't think they "kicked" him out, I think he left and [b']left them with a few empty rooms. He/CSK would have already paid for those, I think. But that's peanuts for him.
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Next thing somebody will do solicitation they will ask for an exception.. lol.. It shows the petty mindedness of Dhoni. As an outsider i don't lose or gain anything out of it. I don't care if ITC loses or gains. But from a reputation standpoint ITC gains points, Tony loses points. That is it. Anything else is irrelevant.
Yoda-esque Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 He/CSK would have already paid for those, I think. But that's peanuts for him. Yeah, it's about repeat clientele.
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 He leaves the hotel for Rayudu's biriyani.. looks like Rayudu is set for long haul with Indian side
gattaca Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 They didn't break any rules. They asked ,hotel refused, they moved out.Simple as that. Inconvenience for 1000s because of a huge ego of a single person.
Yoda-esque Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Inconvenience for 1000s because of a huge ego of a single person. Again, what rules did he break?
vvvslaxman Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Inconvenience for 1000s because of a huge ego of a single person. Exactly. Over a briiyani. I am pretty sure they have very good food in their hotel including hyderbad biriyani. Why can't he go to Rayudu's house and eat.
gattaca Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Again' date='what rules did he break?[/quote'] Tried to break rule by bringing outside food. Got a No go. what about the people who made all arrangements how much pissed they must be. Now they have to make again in a hotel. Dhoni happy doesn't mean everyone is.
