same..he is crap captain in tests but that does not change the fact how good he as been for us.
Yeah but still doesn't deserve a movie....Well he has the money to produce and promote brand Dhoni so can't argue there but not the kind sporting icon that deserves a biopic,I mean no legit filmmaker/story writer would make a movie about Dhoni

it would be fun if they add a scene in which dhoni reads KTs post and capture his subsequent smirk reaction
I know you were joking but No disrespect to K.T or any ICF'r who cares about Indian cricket but inserting a scene about an ICFr sounds as ridiculous as a movie being made about Dhoni :giggle:

That's the worst part of all. Producing your own biopic
That is actually a very smart move.....promoting "Brand Dhoni"....even if the movie flops, Dhoni will benefit, if it's a hit still win-win. Going by some of the posts on this thread, in 20 years time every legend greater than Dhoni will be remembered for SRT'S -infamous 100th 100,Crouching stance while getting bowled,Not a match winner, Passenger,Selfish etc etc Ganguly-the guy who commentates with a smirk on his face Kapil and Laxman-guys who cannot complete a proper sentence in either English or Hindi Gavaskar- Adminsitrator, BCCI babu,Commentator who puts on a god awful west Indian accent from time to time etc etc Kumble-one of the many coaches of :mi: so must have done something in his playing days as every achiever gets a pension in the form of coaching :mi: Dravid-Analyst on ESPN Cricinfo and ocassional coach for :rr: Yuvraj-The cricketer who survived cancer but fked up in the T20 WC Bhajji-will always be a topic when an argument comes up about chucking -Srilankan and Pak fans will say why he wasn't banned when he chucks, Indian fans will tout BCCI power and say Fk U to them while everyone forgets what the fk has he done apart from hogging a spot in the :mi: line up for so many years.....Yes the guy almost took 700 wickets for India and has a test hattrick but who cares. Zak-The most injury prone cricketer ever, Dhoni-As shown in the movie Dhoni,The legend of Legends, the greatest :hail: :hail:

I am no fanboy' date=' but Dhoni is an all time great Indian cricketer irrespective of the format.
thats like sayng sunny gav is great irrespective of format. sunny is great in Tests, not ODIs. MSD is reverse. SRT in both. Format matters!

Dhoni is an Indian great even in tests. You are talking like we have produced Gillys in the past. Only Indian wk batsman averaging close to 40 with the highest number of scalps.

Non-subcontinent does he know how to bat in Tests! And keeping he is ok, but inferior to folks like Saha.
non subcontinent ? how many keepers bat as well as him ? lets not even talk about home where he is as good as any batsman

How many great wk/bats from other teams have great records in India? Gilchrist has a poor record in India and cannot bat when ball turns, does that mean he isn't a great ? For any WK/bat career average around 40 is pretty and only very few averages more than him.

Oh never knew he is on par with sachin sunny dravid viru vvs etc please do tell us more

Walking wicket when ball moves! Please
He was one of our best bat on recent England tour when everyone thought he will be a walking wicket. He is not a specialist batsman, please dont expect him to bat like SRT, Dravid, etc. As wk/bat, he is an Indian great no matter which format you choose.

He neither is the greatest bat nor the greatest bat but as a wk/bat, he has given us a package which no other WK/bat did. You cannot compare to him India's greatest batsmen. No one is saying he is one of the greatest batsman, but he is an ATG cricketer for India with his contributions combine in all formats whether as batsmen, WK, or a captain.

Great challenge for this actor...usually Bollywood actors go and get a 6 pack or get into great shape for these kind of roles, they will never do a role like Charlize theron in Monster,Rene Zelwegger in Bridget Jones or Christian Bale in the Fighter which involves to shed all the glamor...hey credit where due it does take a lot of dedication to get a 6 pack but still you get my drift. ANyways for this role the actor who seems to be in good shape will have to pack on pounds by eating a lot of greasy food like Mcdonalds and Biryani....dye his hair gray etc etc.....Even unlearn any cricket technique he might have learnt as a kid(assuming he did)...ROle of a lifetime...maybe if the guy pulls it off it might be our entry to oscars :two_thumbs_up:
