Apparently, it is a remake of the Tom Cruise movie Knight & Day. Fox studios India recently bought the rights. Katrina Kaif still can't act. :wall:

Knight & Day is an all-time fave. Hope Bang Bang lives up to those standards. The music is certainly excellent. No doubt about it. I've had "Meherbaan" and the title track "Bang Bang" on my lips since I first heard them.

Meherbaan is a good song Tbh it looks like a brainless plot free action film, the type hollywood does N times better and that is why films like this fall flat for me. Knight and Day was a silly movie in itself. I think this will be about on par with Agent Vinod. Hope Haider wipes the floor with Bang Bang. Its a shame Hrithik chooses to act in tosh like this

Haider will be a boring drama, will stand no chance against Bang Bang. People want entertainment. So, these types of films are a safer bet in India, so they do such films and then off beat films don't work with big stars. When Hrithik did an off beat film like Fiza after KNPH, ek kutta bhi dekhne nahi aaya tha. So, now, they dont take risk. Same happened with SRK when he did Swadesh.

But -hopefully- Haider will offer a higher quality of film as far as storyline and acting is concerned anyway
