Do you know there have been over 100 ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control in recent months? On Sunday, Pakistani troops opened heavy fire on Indian posts along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, violating the ceasefire for the 10th time this month, even as Army troops guarding the borderline with Pakistan effectively responded to the firing. There was no casuality on the Indian side till reports last came in from the area. "Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked and heavy firing on Indian forward posts along LoC in Balnoie sub-sector of Poonch district around 0800 hours," PTI quoted Defence Spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta as saying. This was the tenth ceasefire violation along the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir since October 1. There have been seven ceasefire violations along the LoC in Poonch and three along the IB in Jammu. Pakistani troops had on Saturday fired mortar shells along the LoC in Poonch district, drawing equal retaliation from Army. On October 3, Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire for the fourth time by shelling forward areas and villages along LoC and International Border in Gulmarg sector of Kashmir Valley and Poonch and Jammu sector in Jammu region, in which a girl was killed and six persons were injured. On October 1 and 2, Pakistani troops had violated the ceasefire two times along the LoC in Poonch district resulting in injuries to six persons and damage to some houses. On October 2, Pakistani troops had targeted border hamlets in forward areas along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district by shelling them with mortar bombs and firing resulting in injuries to six civilians.

OK fine let us maintain status quo, bend over and take some more shots from their rangers. Let civilians die everyday but no retaliation coz we are a peaceful nation. Horrifying to see a supposedly regional power being kicked around by Pakistan, Lanka, Bangladesh so often. No wonder it was so easy to subjugate us to foreign rule for 1000+ years. No spine, no sense of shame, chalta hai attitude, weak foreign policy, lack of urgency, lack of preparedness and end result is for all to see.

Just retaliate with ferocity.Already Pakistan has run to the UN and wants UN to intervene as if anyone is going to listen to them. Pakistan is a small country and its army is half of India and also technologically behind us its time we treat them like that. And regarding nuclear weapons, well any use of that will mean India retaliating and complete destruction of Pakistan, dont think their corrupt, power hungry generals will want that. Its all rhetoric and about time their bluff is called.

^^you think it is that easy?
Which part is extremely difficult?Pakistan is used to having it easy at the LOC with only a token retaliation by congressi govt. This govt. Have asked the army to retaliate with full force which is why Pak has run to UN now.
