Sachinism
Sadly, hearing all the poor reviews I haven't even bothered reading it. I have many Sachin books on my shelf and most are boring. Not planning on adding another one I wont read Link to comment
BlueBee
The whole dude was boring. Link to comment
Texan
I did this, I did that. Wonder what people were even expecting from this "my hundreds, my records, my achievements" person. Link to comment
Precambrian
Yeah for 80% , its just match reports you could've sourced from cricinfo and the rest is primarily details of his culinary experiments. The man's memory is something out of this world though, he remembers what food he ordered in a restaurant decades back. Link to comment

Sachin=GOD
Boria Majumdar did a pathetic job of writing a biography - as I said earlier, its more of a chronicle of events rather than story of his life. Really disappointing. Link to comment
mishra
Book could have been written lot better. Link to comment
CSK Fan
I did this' date= I did that. Wonder what people were even expecting from this "my hundreds, my records, my achievements" person. Do you even have any idea what the word autobiography means? :hysterical: Link to comment
Marut
Too focused on his "on the field" exploits...but what else did you expect from a cricketer? Sachin does not obviously like to create a lot of new controversies. Link to comment
Old guy
Do you even have any idea what the word autobiography means? :hysterical: OK..you are confusing me :hmmm: Link to comment

Desi Cartman
Im now on the last chapter and credit where due, last chapter is done really well. Maybe because its most recent, SRT was able to express his feelings in a better way. Link to comment
moniker
Do you even have any idea what the word autobiography means? :hysterical: It should be more like "What happened to me" vs "What my achievements are". Link to comment
Precambrian
Clearly, the book is a rushed product, to meet deadlines. And in the hands of a crood like Boria, it ended up being even more disastrous. Link to comment
Gollum
Finished reading it yesterday, horrible horrible book. Sachin comes off as a sort of self centered guy. Link to comment

You did not need to read the entire book to come to that conclusion, just read the title: "Playing it my way". GoldenSun 1 Link to comment
