If he is given a long rope, he will prove to be a better overseas bat than Dhoni. Then Dhoni averages about 20 in Australia in 7 tests. So, Dhoni isnt a great benchmark by any means.

Anyways if you feel saha will change our fortunes then sure lets have him, all I want to see is us win don't care who does it.

He wil certainly be an upgrade in keeping department and if persisted certainly wont be worse than Dhoni overseas. Think Dhoni has toured England thrice, SA thrice, NZ twice, AUS thrice now.

He proved to be a better batsman than Dhoni on the last tour when he forged a good 100 run partnership with Kohli in his very first innings.That partnership was the only bright point in the otherwise dismal tour.Though, Dhoni is the best stumper in the game but not much stumping chances will be created in Australia.

We dont want any missed chances plus the ball bounces too high in aus conditions for which Saha is more flexible than Dhoni.Dhoni is a tad overweight too :D
