Mostly the educated folks working in IT etc would go to Pune, Bangalore. IT folks don't indulge in such things.

I can assure you that this will not only suppress the actual cases but also will lead to marginalization. It's happened far too many times in history to fall for that again. The vagueness of the case doesn't give a free pass to support illegal acts.

OTOH, you are also making the people who are on your side to doubt your rationale. In terms of antagonization, don't draw a line between the real-virtual worlds. After all, it is just the medium that changes - the manifestation of thoughts are still in your (sub)conscious mind. Our thoughts don't change according to the medium - the tone/emphasis might be different but you'd still say your mind on phone versus in person. I speak as well wisher and active supporter of the women who face regular oppression. That's my last word on this topic. :) plenty of last words DM.....

Not that I m a gender biased or misogynist and trying to take side of accused... It is because if the boys r really bullish and r on there way to just misbehave the girls den in this case they would not allow their machoness to be hurt by merely a few slaps from abala nari.... Remember they r no gentle men and weaker sex would ultimately be d victim (if not always atleast most of d time)... We as a society r not sensitive enough to get into someone else's feud and fight with d unjust until it doesn't concern us... When people don't give a damn about d verbal argument happening in front of der eyes why wd they interfere in d others physical dispute? ... Fear of repercussions must be der but can only b instilled by d enlightenment of society as a whole.

All this highlights in todays world you have to be very careful with what you do. the worrysome part is that its not just the small,irrelevant media channels but massive channels like ndtv,cnn,times etc who jumped the gun and glorified the girl to no end.there is very low credibility in our msm
