Whiners out in full force.... unbelievable fans we have! Everyone on here was wishing that BK be dropped as he would be a huge liability after the new ball on aussie pitches bowling 120k pies to warner and co. Same people were saying that Ashwin and Jaddu are pathetic test match bowlers who could only succeed in India. I totally agreee with Kohli's selection. It was a bold decision but a well planned one. A leggie is going to be a good bet in the second innings when the drop-in pitch starts to become sluggish. The extra pace usually helps with reverse and getting something out of nothing when the pitch is placid. What we saw today was just pure inexperience from some young bowlers playing the first match of a series after a very emotional week. These guys are inexperienced and will learn from such outings. I think Ishant is the most experienced guy with 50 odd test matches. So let us cut some slack here. For all the critical fans, don't worry.... Capt dhobi will be back for the second test along with his mates jaddu and binny. You will also see more 'discipline' with a line outside off stump with 2 fielders manning the off-side fence starting with the 3rd over

I beleive clarke won't bat in this test again so we have an opportunity to get them out in less score if warner fails n clarke doesn't bat.

Aaron needs to get his line right.......Being fast is no excuse to be erratic...Good thing about him though is the extra pace will often produce the magic delivery. Looks like Shami turned it around E-O-D but still not a test bowler imho...nothing to offer in terms of new ball or pace.

Missed Showape Actor in hindi commentary, would have been fun to listen him talking about Shami. :hysterical: Though pitch is dead as dodo for pacers, Aaron did create some excitement for a few overs.
