Dhoni_fan Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 People need to understand that Dhoni is a great captain not just for India but also CSK he is one of the best captains ever, he's won us a World Cup a World T20 got India to number 1 in Test Cricket and won multiple IPLs and champions leagues titles lest we forget. Kohli is a talented batsman who is going to break a lot of records but he showed a great deal of immaturity today. 300-6 16 overs to go when we have a weak tail and he tries to hit a 6 that is absolutely ridiculous behavior. I find it disgusting that some people here don't rate Dhoni as captain one of the worlds best ever captains yet are all praise for Kohli. Kohli was amazing in scoring 2 100s but he has undone all of that with one idiotic shot to make matters worse he apparently told his players to keep going for it including Rohit! That worked really well didn't it!! I don't believe in pure defence but you have to play the situation, at 205-2 at Tea we were in a winning position but once we lost a few poles a good skipper woudk have realised its time to shut up shop and play for a draw. Dhoni would have done this Virat didn't, that's why Dhoni is a great captain and Virat a brainless one.

Shut the F up, kohli earned everyone's respect including clarke of all people, the most aggressive captain today. Everyone has praised his approach. Fact is, your dhoni's favourite ROHIT SHARMA and others failed kohli, else we'd have won.

Well Clarkes just won a Test that he thought me may lose so he can say anything it is easy to give respect once you have won It's one thing going for a win but you need to have brains to know when to eventually shut it down once a win is impossible! Under the World Class Kaptaan in Test the score reads 1-13 overseas.What happened to the kaptaan in the Auckland Test when he could not finish it off and batted like a tailender.

This isn't a T20 chose with a RRR of 21 this is a Test where we could have won but once that became virtually impossible we could have prevented going 1-0 down but idiocy from Kohli have prevented it from happening.

If Dhoni was captain, we wouldn't have got to 205/2 at Tea in the first place... Would have looked to defend and draw the match, and lose wickets to Lyon in the process, and been 150/6 at Tea

Had he been Captain in this Test then we would have been done and dusted around Tea Session that's how useless he is in the Test format.

Lost his only test as captain due to a reckless approach Dhoni may not have led us to many wins abroad but his record is a damm site better than Kohli as captain
