There have been movies involving a muslim boy and hindu girl before too though. There've been hardly any indian movies having a pakistani lead character so obviously there is little chance for the specific scenario you've mentioned to happen. Always the other way round? You are saying as if there've been scores of such movies. Are there a lot of pakistani movies where the lead character is an indian?

This is the truth . before 19th century there was hardly evidence of hindu or sanatan dharma unity. That is the reason when sind or Kabul got invaded no hindu or budhists king came to their rescue .Even in third battle of Panipat Maratha's were alone fighting Afghans and some local muslims as Rajputs, Jats or sikhs did not come to help them because earlier Maratha's did not show any favourable treatment to sanatan dharmi's . they even allowed mughals to rule delhi which they could had easily overthrown. It is only in 19th and 20th century Hindu organised themselves under the name of hindu and united themselves

I hate the concept of 'Swami Puja' to the core.. and its best to get rid of it from our society.. And I am one of those who believes in "Hindu Rashtra"

As far as I know there has only been one Pakistani movie which involves India. And that was released in 2013, called Waar. I don't know of any other.

Not all over India, but Pratihara dynasty from the North and Chalukya dynasty from South-Central united to beat invading Arabs. See the ancient Hinduism was a true religion more tolerant and less abhorent towards interpretation. See through interpretations two things happen, the followers get reformed that is good,but if the interpretation is wrong and cultifies them they might become bad, i mean isis bad, see for instance now there is a big need for organised islam to differentiate itself from say salafist's and wahabis who feed into the ideology that gave birth to ISIS. Now to your complaint that had Hinduism been a socio/political religion then it could have better defended itself, well yes definitely. But a democratic nation would defend itself better than a society connected by political religious institutions. So now that we are a democratic republic, we do not need any social or political guidelines from religion. Your anecdote has more to do with the fractured polity of the Indian states at that time, that will not happen again since India is now mfing big and nasty in terms of power projection. Basically all religious advise on what a person should do in front of a national flag, or who are enemies of the people , who are the people of the state etc, should be handled by the state not religion. So all such talk can be shoved by all and sundry. So in this respect say Sanatan dharma or sufi or Ahamedia or SPNR are good 'religions' with no political aspirations just spiritual, ones that you get to do with your kids and wife and shut as soon as you hit the road. Or better yet give a middle finger to organised religion and start worshiping science.
