The idea or objective of sledging is to not give it back to the one who sledges. It is to ruffle up the patience of the bowler or the batsman. If you can ignore a sledge you have come victorious. Australians know this point well. Not saying its right or wrong but they know how to handle this. Kohli has been immature in actually losing his cool..he gave 2 opportunities. the thing I found most disappointing was him pointing out and making fun of Johnson going at 4.7 runs per over. The fact that he bothered to check up on MJ's stats shows that MJ got inside his head. Also resorting to this is a) below the belt, b) immature and c) unbecoming of a top cricketer
