MK55 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Regardless of how well we bat, we are just not capable of scoring 500 runs overseas. So I'm expecting something around 420 if we bat well. Aus will score 570-600. So we'll trail by 150-180. Aus will score at least 200 in their 2nd. And we cant score 360-380 on this wicket on the 4/5 days. So loss is inevitable.

We are a much better ODI team than a test team at the moment, but I can't imagine us beating Australia. Even if they rest some players, they have a huge pool of good ODI players to pick from.
putrevus Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 These beatings remind me of beatings which both England and Australia took WI in 1980s ,England became a useless team till late 2000s where as Bobby Simpson and Border laid stone for Aussie Dynasty. Indian team is going England's way.
