Late on Wednesday, he had maintained the same line with journalists who sought his reaction to the attack on the magazine. Qureshi had hit the headlines in 2006 after declaring a reward of Rs. 51 crore for anyone who would kill the Danish cartoonist who had created a controversial cartoon of Prophet Mohammed. He had made the offer at a public rally in Meerut. If he has guts to talk like this openly, I m sure he along with his party must be funding terrorists. Ironically, Charlie Hebdo is a true left wing secular magazine, unlike these fakeular parties.

The fact that an MP is supporting an act of terrorism instead of condemning it means that he is hoping to get support from the people of peace and the so called seculars. Who knows how many more like these dwelling all over the country.

It turns out the gunman in the Charlie Hedbo terror attack were known for terror related activities a decade ago but no action was taken. At the very least keep an eye on this man. It could be he is simply trying stay relevant politically. If he does actually pay these people 51 crore then jail him.

If you ignore them, these loony leaders become darling of the muslim community and spread more hate. It is better to file some case against them and put them behind bars.

The gunmen were known for terror related activities so definitely someone should have kept an eye on them. This man has just said something in order to stay politically relevant - he isn't going to give a single penny to them so this statement is just to get attention (if he does give anything then yes, he should be thrown into jail immediately). Taking any action right now will only give more publicity to him - and I can bet that thats exactly his aim.

So that he becomes messiah and so himself as martyr for religion. Better to ignore him at the moment and focus on removal of fundamentalism of any kind.
