Some of you might not agree but i think it can be Hanuman Vihari ..... I have seen this guy and i think he can be a good test batsman.....lot better than U19 / IPL fancy names like samsong, aparanjith, Zol etc tec

He's very unflashy, but got loads of experience and still young. Made his debut (allegedly) at 14. Doesn't have the highest avg or 100 conversion rate, but he seems to be a stable middle-order bat, who can slot in at 6. If Jadhav can rediscover his form, he would be a very exciting talent - someone who can counterattack in the middle. Vihari is coming along nicely; but Nair has not had that good a season, nor has Pandey. Nair could become a like-for-like swap of Rayudu in ODIs though - he's got a great avg and a great SR as well; same goes for Jadhav.

Not sure if he can drafted into Test side ..... Nair has only one season behind him.....This season will be important for him... Kedhar has missed the boat as per test cricket is concerned......... Pujara can bat at 6, where he may be more comfortable.

Plays an over ambitious shot to get out. Iyer can be a ODi batsmen.....not sure if his defensive game is good enough for Test cricket esp outside sub-contient

Plays an over ambitious shot to get out. Never thought I'd see another Bawne supporter here. The guy has been through the domestic grind for about 7-8 yrs, and in the last few seasons has played very solidly. I also saw some of his innings live, and found some good stuff - he's not a regular century maker or quick scorer, but he can grit it out - somethin that most domestic batsmen don't. On a diff note, it's really disappointing to see Baba regressing so much. Had high hopes that he could become our equivalent of Matthews - bat in the top 6, and bowl some useful overs. Agree that Iyer is a good prospect. So are Virat Singh, Sarfaraz Khan and Ishan Kishan - but they all have a long, long way to go.

A freak injury around 2007 spoiled his career

A freak injury around 2007 spoiled his career Maybe in LOIs he is done, but we need a player like him in Tests. You need an experienced player at 6. He also plays spinners very well.
