Australia disrespecting the World Cup?

How they treat world cup is none our concern. If they care more about their ashes, that's their opinion. But I agree, I don't feel that much excited about the world cup compared to the craze that it is once had.

You forgetting the fact Harris hasn't played a ODI is 5+ years (probably longer). Fact is at full strength who is he replacing. Starc is a better ODI bowler, MJ picks himself, Faulkner the AR, and then really Cummins could do what Harris would do anyway.

Hey come on' date=' that's little OTT. :giggle:[/quote'] No. Not OTT at all. I'll gladly take that. World cup we won multiple times but never won a test series in Aus or SA.

Actually, you're right. I mean, yeah winning test series in Aus/SA would go down to a history since it'll be the first one. So I'm with you on that. But if you ask me, this last series or the world cup, then I'd want 2015.

To be honest I too would a test series win in Australia or SA over upcoming WC. I just love test cricket. Would definitely take WC over a meaningless series win in SL or the like, however.

England are sh1t in odis and global tournaments anyway and they just want to hide their incompetence in the shorter format under the same old cliche "we prioritize tests over odi tournaments, yada yada". As far as aus goes,I disagree that they don't care about the world cup, they have always sent a strongside in global tournaments and have always build squads keeping the WC in mind else they wouldn't have won 4 WCs.
