This is only among some punjabies' date=' they have severe inferiority complex, although some of them are descendants of lodhi, tughluk etc they no longer speak pushto or farsi and are totally assimilated into punjabi culture.[/quote'] But Punjabis n sindhis are 80% of the population bro There's even mention of gandhar (Kandahar) Naresh (king) in Mahabharata. When were the afghans converted to Islam? Or did they embrace it?

Afghans were a number of faith's but mostly buddhist, Afghans were very rebellious and many did not convert but the lands were conquered and people mostly become muslim during the time of the saffarids, some were even kafir untill the late 19th century e.g. kafiristan which is now known as nuristan( land of light). Fyi nuristanis are not Pashtuns.

Lucknow is full of people with this mindset' date=' also ahle-hadith is gaining ground in India which is basically salafiya in the subcontinent.[/quote'] :haha: Ahle-hadith is gaining ground where exactly? Lucknow is full of people with that mindset? FYI, Shias as as a percentage of the total number of Muslims is probably one of the highest in Lucknow. Significantly more than in other Indian cities. So much for your Ahl-e Hadith is gaining ground claim.

Never knew of this inferiority complex. Interesting.

Forget the past. Right now we have thousands of fanatic islamists who infiltrated deep in the country trying to carry out an attack and kill for fun. And we have millions of "moderates" who are potential fanatics' date=' when given chance. And we have those fake honey tongues, who love the Kafirs outside and hate them inside. And those who are on mission to convert as much as possible. I am yet to find a "secular" one though, since there is nothing like that in their holy book.[/quote'] This is quite an exposé!!!! Please tell us more about the millions of "moderates" who are potential fanatics and the fake honey tongues. You seem to be a fountain of knowledge on the topic.

Referring to the nadwatul ulama which are salafies masquerading as deobandies.

Though I am from Hyderabad, I am not sure but would you know the difference between the 2 major muslim cities in India - Lucknow and Hyderabad? I am looking for info like - which city has more muslims and what would be the approximate % split between Shia and Sunni in each city As a resident of Hyd, I see nothing here like the news that keeps coming from Lucknow ( actually not just Lucknow but other towns in UP as well ) - riots, Shia - Sunni clashes, curfews, etc. And this is inspite of the younger Owaisi making some spiteful speeches every 6 months or so here.

Well, we need to read this kind of propoganda with a pinch of salt as violence after winning a war wasnt uncommon those days, but Islam is the first religion which incorporated brutalism and conversion as far as religion is considered in the Indian subcontinent. Before Islam in India, there were no religions as such but different philosophical thought processes about the complex relationship between Prakruti(nature) and purusha (soul) which has nothing to do with worldly matters, hence expanding the state by war is separated from the dharma ( religion ). Islam changed all that, as Islam is not just collection of philosophical thoughts but list of dos to spread the religion dumbed down to even common men, and made their aim of serving the god by spreading Islam by trying to create Islamic state through violent means. Irony is profound philosophical thoughts like Buddhism, carvaka. Vedanta etc has almost extinct whereas Semitic religions are spreading..Reformist throughts like Arya samaj barely appeal to people whereas fake cults like Rampaul or Asaram has millions of followers..

One thing I was always hear how Islamic invaders were merciful and peaceful otherwise all of Indian subcontinent would've been Muslim. It is as if no one stood up to them or fought back.

India is one country which has been suffering from Islamic terrorism for centuries. And yet, we offer these Muslims reservations. They don't deserve any right to it. It's depressing that our country's has suffered a lot in recent times and no one seem to care or pay attention to it. It's all been ignored just to please the M vote bank.

One of my cousins ( hindu ) got rank in 2000s in EAMCET ( Engg and medical exam in AP ) in 2012. He got this with many sacrifices by his parents in terms of paying for coaching, books, etc. He did not get any seat for Mechanical, EEE, ECE, Comp Science in any govt college in AP. He is into Civil Engg now. His muslim friend ( never used to come to college and used to get stipend for minorities that he used for boozing) got rank 25000s and he is studying Comp Science in govt college in AP. This is a true story. There is no country better for muslims in the world than India. I am not sure if it is good or bad.

^^^^ I am not sure if ICF mods will consider it racial or so but I never ever go for treatment from a muslim doctor nor will go for a muslim Civil Engineer knowing that >90% of them got their degrees due to appeasment of Indian Govt. Give money to poor people irrespective of religion. Bloody don't reserve seats in educational institutions/jobs for muslims and others and kill us all.

^ would you also say the same for SC/ST reservation as well? Would you refuse to get treatment from a doctor who is SC/ST?
My problem/distrust as you would have seen from my post comes from the undeserving getting professional jobs ( especially something as critical as medical ). Obviously, I won't go for any SC/ST or OBC doctor. I admit there are practical difficulties in identifying them but given that I live in a certain limited geography, I have done my research and know whom to approach/not approach. I might look like a villian but I won't put my life or my old mother's life in hands of some underserving fellow who came not on merit but due to appeasement practices of Indian politicians. If anyone brands me racist, etc, I am Ok with it.

2 things, as long as you dont trust anybody who got in due to quota, its a fair opinion. Secondly, dont you think students can only get into school due to quota but at the end they still need pass all the exams and go through training like others. For the record, I believe giving scholarships to kids who are smart/intelligent but cant afford. Thats how it should be

1. Why should people even get INTO due to quota? What about people who could NOT due to quota? What makes you think that the people who could NOT get into school will NOT do better in training? 2. Don't tell me you are not aware of pass marks for SC/ST/OBC/Muslims being REDUCED to make sure they PASS. Are you not aware of different pass marks for reserved categories? Seriously. Are you not aware?

I think it is unfair to be against only one race of people who benefit by such stupid quotas. Instead, I'm against all such things. The privileged and the poor should both have the same opportunities regardless of race. You may give scholarships on the bases of race, wealth etc, but you shouldn't hand over a seat that should go to a deserving candidate to an undeserving one.

Just one example of the IN criteria link for IIT JEE 2014 Cut-off marks: 1. Common Merit List (CML) candidates: 152 marks 2. OBC (NCL) candidates: 117 marks 3. SC candidates: 74 marks 4. ST candidates: 63 marks 5. PwD candidates: 63 marks 6. Preparatory candidates: 53 marks So a hindu ( non SC/ST/OBC) needs 152 to even be considered. For an ST, it is 63. Will you go for an engineer with 151 marks or 64 marks? What about a surgeon for yourself or your near and dear one? As I said earlier, it is not just the IN, even the OUT has bias in India.
