jusarrived Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Some of you are going overboard , I wouldnt have him the team personally ..but is he really that bad as some of you are making him to be ? No , infact far from it . Few years back he was tipped as the next big thing and for a reason . He has some talent . Arguably one of the best players of spin in India , hes as good as GG or better imo . plays the short ball well & is decent against pace . His drawback is though that he dosent have a power game against pace bowlers & lack of patience gifting his wicket after being set . Overall hes good batsmen , not great ..but that dosent make him a hack . Dont be surprised if hes one of the Top 2 scorers for India in this WC , depending on how many games he gets .

BeautifulGame Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 In a match were rain is consistently interrupting and reducing overs the problem is Rayadu slogging and scoring at a SR of 100 and not Rahane scoring at 60? What insecurity ? He played mostly proper one day shots not like trying to slog everything to cow corner .His problem last match was trying too many shots not blind slogging .Probably caused by the match situation He is a decent bat who can do a job.Anyway he is only the back up bat and Dhawan should be persisted with once Rohit returns
