Many politicians, including two chief ministers - Chaudhary Brahma Prakash and Madan Lal Khurana - lived in the bungalow 'only to meet a troubled fate'. None of them could complete full terms in office. Former Delhi minister Deep Chand Bandhu died of illness during his stay in this bungalow.
