V main 8 his test returns are 38/33. Not bad at all.

Played 70% at home! Away Tests. good batting record only in Zimb, WI and NZ, otherwise 13 in England 12 in SA 12 in SL Decent test bowler, but not enough stats to evaluate his away from home test bowling as he plays 70% at home. Not his fault, but that is all we have. In ODIs, again averages 25 with the bat against each one of Australia, England and SA. In ODI bowling, poor averages against most good batting sides - Australia, SA, SL, India Overall, he is one of the better ODI players we have (not the best as he has mediocre records against good sides), but Shakib at the top shows the decline in the standards of all rounders compared to the earlier decades.
