The petitioner will get a reply stating how BCCI/RAW/CIA/.... contrived against Pakistan The voices in Pakistan will urge the government to take this matter to a neutral decision making body People in UN and the White house will be shown various video clips Pakistan will still not get a response It will once again be blamed on BCCI/RAW/CIA who all proactively worked to weaken Pakistan's voices at the international forums A further national debate would be held in Pakistan as to how to strengthen Pakistan's "narrative" As in the end, decision are not taken based on what is right or wrong, but based on "narratives" :icflove:

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Airline Pilots’ Association (Palpa) rejected on Wednesday earlier reports that Pakistan International Airlines captain Faisal Younis was appointed on fake educational certificates, insisting that pilot is certainly qualified to fly jets. Earlier, it was disclosed at a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) during the scrutiny of an audit report on the aviation division that Faisal had fake degrees. Initially, Secretary Aviation Division Mohammad Ali Gardezi and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Managing Director Shahnawaz Rehman expressed ignorance about Faisal’s relations. But after the PAC quizzed and directed them to produce complete details, Gardezi informed the committee that Faisal was the younger brother of Waqar Younis, the former captain of Pakistan cricket team and its incumbent head coach. “Younis is a victim of his association with Waqar Younis and it is wrong to say his degree is not genuine,” Papla President Captain Amir Hashmi said. “People need to understand that pilots are not different from doctors or engineers who have a basic academic qualification of FSC or intermediate. What follows after that is professional training,” the association’s president told The Express Tribune. Captain Faisal wasn’t able to clear only one paper in his FSC examination before he joined PIA, he added. “It is really an exaggeration to say that he had a fake degree.” Later, Captain Faisal went on to complete Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) to qualify for induction. But when it was found that he hadn’t cleared one of the papers, the airline management demoted him. “He has already paid a heavy price. He was supposed to be third person in his batch to clear the training process but was demoted to 23rd as punishment,” Hashmi said. “That was the last rank.”
So the news is false but still the headlines have not been changed

ISLAMABAD (AP) - A handful of Pakistan cricket fans smashed eggs on their heads in anger Thursday after the country's chief selector returned home from the World Cup in disgrace because he visited a casino. Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan ordered Moin Khan to come back after the former wicketkeeper was criticized by former players and parliamentarians for dining out at a casino last week in Christchurch. Going to gambling casinos, which are banned in the country, is unacceptable in Pakistani culture. The frustrated fans at the airport chanted "Enemy of cricket Moin Khan" and "Get Moin Khan out" as the chief selector sneaked out of the airport in the southern port city of Karachi without talking to the media or facing angry fans. When the fans couldn't see Moin at the airport they vented their anger by smashing eggs on their own heads. "I am sorry with the entire nation for hurting them," Moin told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from Karachi. "It was totally unintentional to go to a casino for dinner and in hindsight I chose a wrong place." Moin, who was member of Pakistan's winning World Cup squad in 1992, was also criticized by former cricketers when the PCB decided to send him with the team to Australia and New Zealand as chief selector. Pakistan got off to a bad start when it was beaten by India - the sixth time in a World Cup match - before losing its second Pool B match to the West Indies in Christchurch by 150 runs. Two days before the loss to the West Indies, Moin went to a casino for dinner with his wife and friends. Shaharyar spoke to Moin a number of times and also talked to the team management before deciding to call him home. The PCB is already planning to revamp the selection committee after the World Cup, so Moin could be out of a job. "I don't want to jump to conclusions," said Moin, who is planning to talk to Shaharyar in a couple of days. "Let me first meet with the chairman."

Some of the things mentioned about in this whole Moin episode * He went to casino as "everybody knows that casinos have free food" * Since he went to casino, his wife is a gambling addict * Only thing halal served there is fish and chips
I've been to that very casino and there is no free food.

Pakistani fans smash eggs on their own heads to protest against Moin Khan

Moin avoided a group of angry youth who had gathered outside the Karachi international airport to embarrass him with slogans and eggs. After the former captain slipped away quietly into a waiting car without any baggage the angry youngsters vented their frustration by smashing the eggs on their heads.

Hi, I am Haroon. I'm a Pakistan fan. I have been reading this forum for a few months and have found it interesting therefore I have decided to finally join. I have seen quite a few misconceptions about Pakistani players and Pakistan cricket in general on here. I am in regular contact with a few Pakistan players including Ahmed Shehzad. I want to make it clear to all that this is NOT Ahmed Shehzads Facebook account.
