As i said, around 25% of sexual crimes are done under the influence of alcohol..In these men, alchol is not a reason for the crime, but acts like a stimulant to the oppressed sexual fetishes which wouldn't have happened without alcohol. How do you know there is no less rape in islamic countries? Higher rapes are reported in countries where alcohol is abundant..

May be they are perverts , and group drinking brought out the intrinsic pervert behavior in them..I am not sure.. You are merely asking question. Why dont you tell me what causes rape behavior in some men? You seem to agree that without alcohol they wouldn't have commited the crime in the previous page, now you say you haven't met them. How should i know what causes people to commit crimes? All i know is if public keep giving criminals the cushion of excuses, they will never take personal responsibility for their actions and will always think and justify crime like the way the rapist and the lawyer did in the documentary.

Do you support men watching porn treating the women as sexual objects? When one watches porn, and stimulates himself sexually , it is possibly pervade in real life and start oozing women passing by as if they are sexual objects. In what way porn is good for human behavior? Legal porn should be just seen at that. When men see porn...they may see objectification of women...women may see it as the objectification of men. As long as it is consensual and not degrading to a gender in general.... Women are sexual being too...they watch porn too.They may not like to watch the same stuff that men like ...Nothing wrong as long as people watch it for what it is.A sexual act ,performed by people consensually for the viewing pleasure of people who would like to watch.Some people find nude art vulgar too.It depends on the sensibilities of the people. I don't find anything wrong in people watching age appropriate legal porn in their personal space. In what way porn is good for human behavior? It is a sexual outlet for people who do not have access to willing partners.Sex is a human need.....and not having sex is an aberration. For some it may be just about viewing pleasure.....like art...or dirty cartoons are . As long as it is no one is getting hurt or being made uncomfortble.....the participant,viewer or the people in the lives of the viewers....it is fine.

The fundamental problem in India is that the judicial system is terrible for both men and women. Women dont get the justice they deserve and neither do men.

Porn has a place in life.But if it is made available in mobiles or in the newspapers in general magazines....then it is a problem.It is not nice to have men looking at porn on their mobiles and ogling at little school girls passing by ...making sick comments.Or someone looking at porn while sitting next to people on buses and metro.People should be free to watch non criminal porn in the privacy of their personal space without making others uncomfortable.Porn is like A+++ movies and should be treated as such.To be available to appropriate ages in appropriate places. Just like the tharki thread on this forum. It is fine to have that stuff in the designated thread...but not ok to have it all over the forum in every thread. Some porn like Child porn,rape porn or stuff recorded without the consent of the participants...illegally has no place in civilized society and should be illegal and criminal. You have issues with porn, I have issues with alcohol though I never preach anyone to not drink, I never because I know most often than not it is going make their belief stronger in favor of alcohol like it happens with backfire effect. Thing is even medications have their adverse reactions, so, if people thing such things dont have such reactions than they must be naive to think that. Like people react differently to medications, people react differently to these things too. Brain is not immune to be affected from all these things. Everything is in brain. Thoughts are in brain. Once they are affected, people are prone to commit mistakes and crimes. But people themselves are responsible of whatever they do, these things cant be held responsible.

My opinion was in general context, and I wasn't pointing out the role of alcohol in Delhi's case because I dont know enough to comment on that case. Broader point is alcohol abuse or drug abuse or porn abuse has an effect on brain and masks rational thinking , and prolonged abuse makes it worse. Not all alcohol abusers turn into sexual predators or violent beings, but it is possible that some of them can't distinguish between right and wrong under the influence of alcohol..It is not just about sexual crimes, but there are many other violent crimes happen under the influence of alcohol. As i said earlier, I dont think this can be termed excuse, unless you think it is perfectly ok to do alcohol abuse. May be alcohol or drugs or porn etc may not cause any harm in moderation and give temporary "enjoyment" , but society cannot term it as "good". These are always considered bad practices , but because not everyone in the society may have the self control I and you have. So it is important to put a sense of guilt when people indulge in these sorts of enjoyment so that they feel guilty when they abuse alchol or drugs.
