Lord Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 No they won't .Srl will still have 7 point and Bangladesh 6 .So Srl will finish 3rd Only way Bangladesh can finish above Lanka is if Srl-Sco match is washed out and Bangladesh beat NZL. BD have 7 points now. SL 6
bowl_out Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Rain in either match Rain in SL-Scot means BD will finish third... If the BD match is washed out, SL will still minnow bash Scotland to finish 3rd with a higher NRR
velu Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 if bd looses to scotland and eng beat afgan then ?? BD has a match vs NZ , not with scotland
BeautifulGame Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Rain in SL-Scot means BD will finish third... If the BD match is washed out, SL will still minnow bash Scotland to finish 3rd with a higher NRR Nope.If Srl Sco match is washed out both will tie on 7 points . So will depend on how badly Bangladesh lose to NZL
BeautifulGame Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 if bd looses to scotland and eng beat afgan then ?? Ban already beat Scotland
bowl_out Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Nope.If Srl Sco match is washed out both will tie on 7 points . So will depend on how badly Bangladesh lose to NZL Yeah. True. They should lose by a not so big margin. If BD-NZ is washed out, that is the best thing for BD - not having to face to hosts in the league stage, and still scrape out two points
addicted4444 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 The pressure of playing in their first knockout game ever will be goo much for Bangladesh. India really shouldn't lose this game.
BeautifulGame Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Anyway Srl-Sco match warm weather predicted So Lunkan fans no need to panic and run scared
vijay50 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Can we stop being nervous and start dreaming of winning it all again? :antijinx:
vijay50 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 That is true but it will take a combined poor day from India and a great day from Bangladesh to pull it off. All we need to do now is suck less than Bangbros on the day and we have enough man-to-man advantage to sail through. Arrogance and complacency will do us in but our confidence is well-deserved. Personally, I won't be that nervous before the game as I would have been had it been England or the other three qualifiers. That said, repeat of the 2003 CWC script is a danger: SF vs. Kenya and the Ponting phainty in the Final :nervous: Happened before . 2007 WC . India vs Bangladesh. India got knocked out from WC.
urbestfriend Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 What if Bangbros beat Newzealand? Then we face Lungans in QF.
Lord Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 What if Bangbros beat Newzealand? Then we face Lungans in QF. If they do that, I'll be happy facing SL
vijay50 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 What if Bangbros beat Newzealand? Then we face Lungans in QF. True. And Bang has won their recent 6 ODIs against NZ. So chances are there.
urbestfriend Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Kind of feeling eerie to face BD..Better to face a strong team in QF, boys will be motivated.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Sri lanka are a decent team but can't help but think that they often sneak to the finals with 1 game against a mental midget like NZ, over-appealing and screaming with mendis and herath at the party all the time.
Mystique_Myth Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Mauka Mauka! (Yet to beat BD in a WC) Have you forgot the 2011 WC?.. LOL
adi B Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Bangladesh has as much chance of beating NZL as England has of qualifying Also even if Ban beat NZL ,Srl will still finish ahead as long as they beat Scotland by a big margin No,if Bangladesh beat nzl they'll finish with 9 pts and srl with 8 after beating Scotland
