For us, from the outside it seems English cricket is all about the Ashes. No. Cricket here is played by Asians and private school educated English boys. No one else cares from the younger generations. Our generation (40+) has more fans but we are not the future. Even Ashes is watched mostly my specific groups - educated English young, older guys.

What? We have a lot of batsman in our batting order who can be explosive batsmen (Dhoni, Raina, Jadeja, Rahane etc) so he just said that instead of listing all of them. But England has Buttler so that doesn't make much sense.

(Occupy crease and then go for the bust) Rohit Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli, Rahane and Dhoni can rotate strike and then attack very well depending on situation. Only Raina (and to some extent Jadeja) is one of those who likes to attack from the word go but wont occupy crease for a long time.. And Ashwin is one who can occupy crease but can rarely attack. Smith, DeVillers, Wiliamson, Sanga are few from other teams but one from each team who can operate in both gears.. Other teams have batsmen like Warner, Finch, Maxwell, McCullum, Ronchi, Anderson, Miller, Taylor, can not rotate strike and occupy crease for a long time... While Clarke, Amla can't go on attacking for long time..
