One has a successful domestic career in NZ,WI,England and Bangladesh as well as the fastest WC hundred of all time. The other has forged a decent career for himself with Leicestershire and has some excellent innings to his name internationally. If anything I'd say they've achieved as much as you could expect from them tbh

vishalvirsingh Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 irfan did achieve some thing in his life as he played quite a few ODI and tests but yes he could have delivered much more but u cant call him as a wasted talent. he won us a lot of ODI's and a few tests as well. yes his brother Yusuf is probably the hardest hitter of the cricketing ball and still he is only playing for some states - I could call him a waste of talent.

vishalvirsingh Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Amol was a good Mumbai talent but not worth being a INDIA batsman though he always thought that he was as talented a Sachin and Kambli but he never was that good. Similarly Sanjay manjrekar was one of those guys who shud consider himself very lucky to have got the opportunity to represent INDIA.... guys like sanjay manjrekar , joginder sharma ,sanjeev sharma, left arm trundler who played recently even ahead of Umesh yadav and many more ...talents were those players who were never good enuf to represent but just got lucky due to some sources. even sunny gavaskar's Son was never good enuf to play for INDIA .. he just played form some reason.

Sooda Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Damien Martyn and Mark Waugh should have achieved a lot more. Totally agree I was a huge fan of MW growing up. If he had a little of his brothers grit he would have been an all time great. Scored some real gems and fantastic to watch of course
