Yes they are balanced and fav only because they are playing at home. If the WC was in sub continent or wi or even England, I doubt Aussies would look outright favs. This is the difference between current aus side and the ones lead by Waugh and ponting they used to be fav irrespective of location.

Pak can beat nzl,srl,saf but when it comes to aus,even a rejuvenated or a confident pak can't do much.I'd normally agree if pak bat first they have a Chance but this Australian side will absolutely maul them even if they bat first. Aus will play 3 genuine quicks Johnson,starc,Cummins/Hazelwood ,that is too much for pak to handle

They were reallt bad in the beginning,but with better selections such as replacing YK and bringing Sarfraz in they look much better batting side.What impressed most me is their death bowling,best in the tournament.

The topic is about balanced or not .Not about the attack is good .No attack without a quality spinner is balanced No team has won a world cup without quality spinner since the great WI in 79.Not even in T20 world cup. And Aussie batting doesnt have weaknessbut only NZL? Australia was bowled out 160 in this world cup itself exposing them lol

I never said anything about the bowling attack in general, just that a quality spinner isn't a necessity on most of these pitches. One bad game doesn't mean much for either side. Australia or New Zealand doesn't have a weak batting line up just because it was almost bowled out for 150.
