lebron_fan Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 I believe among world's cricket playing nations only subcontinental teams have cricket as number 1 sport(i.e. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh). This goes on to show how important it is for the ICC to consolidate and expand the game. Cricket is already fast losing popularity in nations like West Indies, England and even Australia. What are your thoughts of current health of international cricket?

Its not like England where cricket is heavily competing with rugby and is just about the second sport a long way after football. In NZ as well cricket is number 2. Barring football every sport faces that issue right? Rugby union is number 1 in NZ and Wales. These two have a population about 6 million.

Don't care abt international cricket as if India must save it or else..
