The weather forecast is bright and sunny. Will negate the swing of Stark and hopefully our hacks Dhawan and Jaddu can score freely. Rohit is due for a low score now that his 100 is over. Kohli OTOH is due for a big one. I have a gut feeling that we are going to destroy the Aussie bowlers.

Have to say some of them are being realistic when you take past records into account. But all that is history and every day is a new day. India are on a roll and feeling confident. I would say chances are 50:50 going into the Semi Final. If we bat first, I would put it 60:40 in favor of India and not more because Sri Lanka were in the game till 42-43 overs against Australia's 380 odd, so big scores can be chaseable. But pressure of knockout will be a factor when chasing which Indians handle much better IMO. If pitch helps spinners (which many times does at SCG), I would put it 70:30 in favor of India. Australia dont have any real spinners. Maxwell is a part timer and Doherty is a leggie and Indian batsmen are usually comfortable against leggies. I think they missed a trick by not picking Lyon in the side and it might just prove costly for them. Whatever happens, I think we have done superbly in this tournament and won all our games convincingly. Taking 70 wickets in 7 games where pitches dont help spinners(which has been traditionally our strength) is an amazing feat. So let's just sit back and enjoy the game and hope India beat the Aussies and sail through to Finals. :two_thumbs_up:

I strongly believe that if INDIA Win the toss..india bats and India's chances to win becomes 70%.. three things will happen- if india starts Slow against Australia INDIA will still score around 300. If india starts scoring well then INDIA scores 330 -335. If india collapses at the start.. India will recover and score 250 to 275. in the above case - first 2 INDIA will win and the third case India may loose or may even WIN Again. in second Option Australia wins toss and elects to bat- case 1:- Australia scores 350 +... case 2:- Australia scores 300+..... case 3 :- Australia scores 280 +.... from my point of view INDIA will loose in all the three cases.....so if Australia bats first.. we are doomed.
