Am I the only one who feels Kohli is better suited at #4? I agree he played lot of his innings at #3 but he played reasonable amount of cricket at #4 and averages 61. Can't have a batsman who has bit of problem against fast bowlers in the early stages at #3 IMO.

Our openers generally don't build a large partnership together so Kohli ends up coming out very early against the intense fast bowlers. I've long been saying that Kohli should be persisted with at #4, with Rahane at #3. That will wear out the fast bowlers a little (if their spell is still going on) and he won't struggle that much due to their pace.

Kohli might be better tactically but he hasn't shown the temperament as of yet. Aussies can clearly get under his skin. You could see that he wanted to take 'em on forgetting the need of the hour for India. I can only hope he improves on that aspect cuz otherwise he wont achieve his true potential.

dont know about odis mate,it'll be an enormous task to match dhoni's loi exploits.kohli basically will have to win a wc and a CT which is like mount everest,dhoni is great in man management and he is street smart.in tests ,i have no doubt he'll be a better leader than msd,almost anybody can be better than msd in overseas test matches lol
