Nevertheless, it's been a pretty good World Cup for us. 7 matches, 7 pretty convincing wins and something that nobody would have expected of us, 70 wickets. Securing ourselves a semifinal berth, we proved ourselves to be among the best teams in the world. We were the only team from Asia to make it to the final four. They've done at least what we expected from them. If people were expecting more, they were probably being overoptimistic. Nothing shameful about bowing out of the semifinals. Well done, Team India! And congratulations to Australia and New Zealand for making it to the finals!

Get over it. Not every thread is a jinx thread. Let's just accept what happened tonight and congratulate India for a good World Cup and Australia for being too good on the day.

ravishingravi Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Well Done Team India Yes. Let's be honest. This was a very young inexperienced team. For most the players this was first World Cup. They have exceeded all expectations. They have been unbeaten till SF. This was unimaginable month back. They lost a crucial toss. I think result would have been exact opposite had they won the toss. Sure, it was still chaseable and India got to a great start. But all said and done. I am proud of the boys. We lost to a good team after losing the toss. Nothing to be ashamed. This will be a great bunch by the time next WC comes around.
