Dang.. All the teams were struggling to strike a balance between 7th batsman and 5th bowler while Australia was so good that they could sit a guy like Mitch Marsh out. Justified the hype about their side. Congratz Australia.

Australia just know how to play the big moments and they just capitalize on that! They are really at a different level when the mental state is considered in pressure situations! Michael Clarke made a reference to Phil Hughes when he emotionally and with a lump in his throat mentioned, ‘We dedicate this World Cup win to our little brother Phil Hughes’. Yet they ran Eng close in most of the games only to falter in key moments. This time though their batting is well established. Only Rogers and no.6 is probably something they have to worry about. Wont be a 5-0 but Aus should take the series comfortably.

Rogers is in great form right now in First Class. He scored a century in the Sheffield Shield finals 2 half centuries in the match before. In the Tests against India, he got 6 consecutive half centuries as well.

Yeah forgot him. I agree he is a gun ODI bowler. Too bad he is always injury prone and never really got longer run of matches and did not even play 25 ODIs. So it is actually not much of a surprise.
