Number Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 We can retain the exact 15 members squad. Hope Dhoni plays less ODIs and we can groom his replacement before he retires in 2019.

adi B Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 India will comeback as a stronger side in the 2019 wc in England.all the players are young and they will be at their peak by then and mature even more. Just imagine a bowling line of aaron, umesh, shami and bhuvi for English conditions :woot:. Don't know if Dhoni will stay or not, batting is pretty strong and we will groom hitters like kedhar, samson etc, exciting times ahead
CG Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 Ponting era ended in 2011 ' date='they went though tough time now they have again emerged as champions[/quote'] This wc was the day when most guys who bloomed in his captaincy will retire.
adi B Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Ponting era ended in 2011 ' date='they went though tough time now they have again emerged as champions[/quote'] Yup Australia were really poor in odis from 2010-2013 CT ,they lost 4-0 in England, drew 2-2 in Windies, lost at home to lanka countless times, lost in india, got thrashed in the CT but boy they built the perfect squad for home conditions and have dominated in the last two years at home
Tiger80 Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 BTW Finch is just 28 warner 28 bailey 32 Mitch Johnson 33 I don't understand how these players are retiring
cric_fan Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Strength Of Teams After Wc. game_changerr Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 we need to build team for 2023(in india) wc since i dont see any chance in 2019
game_changerr Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Assuming they do not turn into 120kph trundlers by then...which they most likely will. rite,,,,the fact is we dont have any exciting tallent in domestic nor in prison
CG Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 BTW Finch is just 28 warner 28 bailey 32 Mitch Johnson 33 I don't understand how these players are retiring Its regarding next wc.4 years.warner finch warner will play, Bailey, mitch at 37 no chance.
brendan07 Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 BTW Finch is just 28 warner 28 bailey 32 Mitch Johnson 33 I don't understand how these players are retiring Johnson might purely to preserve his test career and he has hinted that before this WC. Finch is young enough, he won't go anywhere. Bailey will be replaced with a Chris Lynn type. Shaun Marsh would be there and thereabouts.
kubrickian Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Assuming they do not turn into 120kph trundlers by then...which they most likely will. Umesh, Aaron and Shami have been playing for a few years already and they havent cut down in pace. They will always look to bowl quick.

He is one of the best ODI bowlers of this era. In tests he is on and off. Also its easier format. Kind of like Brett Lee did. He was still bowling 150 at the age of 38.

Will do anything to prolong his test career.
Zero_Unit Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 If associates are given a fair chance, I would say by 2019 we would most likely see a very competitive Ireland side by the next world cup. Possible ranking changes might happen in the ODI aswell. I can't see WI in the top 8 any more. Most likely will be over taken by BD.
