During his playing days, Rahul Dravid was the perennial good boy of cricket. In the commentary box at the World Cup however, the former Indian captain donned a different hat and indulged in banter with fellow commentators regularly. Former England captain Nasser Hussain was at the receiving end of Dravid's quick wit.

Hussain (on India's unbeaten run en-route the quarter-finals): They're peaking too early aren't they? Are you worried Rahul that your boys are peaking too early? Dravid (with an obvious reference to England's exit): Nasser, it's better to peak early than not to peak at all. You have to peak early to make the quarter-finals actually. That's kind of the rule of the tournament. Shane Warne, the other commentator chipped in: I don't think you were expecting that answer, were you Nas? Hussain: Not from Rahul, from you yes, but not from the nicest man in cricket! Dravid: I was sledged all along in the last commentary session about by 2007 stint. I was inching to give it back to someone. Sorry, Nas!

Pretty much sums up the standard of commentary these days. Just tell us about the bloody game. Sometimes even that's too much when we can see with our very eyes what's going on. Still at least itwas about cricket, usually all Warne talks about is food

I like Hussain. I think he is a good commentator and I don't think he hates India. He is someone who calls a spade a spade. Many Indians just don't like it. He also pulls no punches when England aren't playing well.

I too like his commentary very much. Not only the way he talks cricket but also his english and accent. Probably my favorite commentator at the moment.
