My wife spoke to his cousin. She told he was just a customer trying to help the store owner which is even more tragic . You can always track them down later if you have CCTV.

Sometimes instincts are tough to control. This might be the case. I cant believe it was in Peoria. Do you know where he was working ? State farm ?

Texy Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Another gas station clerk Sanjay Patel was shot dead in CT over few hundred bucks. Wife was pregnant. Gas station jobs are the worst. They're open 24 hours. Owners do not give a shyt abt their employee's lives...don't invest in bullet proof window or burglary bars or even a decent CCTV. They get the worst customers at odd hours. And yet thousands of Indians work there day in and out. What a terrible tragedy. I must have read/heard about 100 or so incidents in Houston area alone involving fatal shooting of a desi guy at a gas station even since I moved to this country.

vvvslaxman Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 IN gas stations things can escalate pretty quickly. Sometimes even if you give the money without resistance , you could still get shot. I got the corrected information. Actually he is a well known guy around that place as station clarke. We cannot call it bad luck in this incident.
