It has received clean chits in many countries and even in many states in India the latest tests showed no lead content. Also, the High Court has allowed Nestle to export it to other countries even as it is still banned in India. To me this ban seems quite dodgy.

Chagla said FSSAI being the regulator should have considered and examined this and not given a knee-jerk reaction by banning the product. He said there was a health risk attached to the product because it may be substandard, but it is not unsafe.
"There was a health risk attached to the product because it may be substandard, but it is not unsafe" ?! What does this "doublespeak" mean ? There is a health risk but it is not unsafe ! LINK
