A question to Bangladesh fans : Do you deserve Test status?

If Bangladesh don't deserve test status then India despite all the riches and facilities should also be just confined to playing at home. When was last time India has won more than single test away from home barring 2004 Pakistan series. They have been just awful and useless for last 30 years for team with so many superstars and their home cooked records. Give Bangladesh time as they have the most important thing public support and passion which will breed interest in youngsters to take up the game it may take time. If India can be a super power in world cricket without any valid cricketing reasons then Bangladesh surely can be a test team.

3. -Scheduling test matches after consulting the Meteorological Department of Bangladesh, to maximize their chances of drawing them.

That was 1-0 that too by winning the fourth test after lot of huffing and puffing. Bangladesh though is going India's route which will never bring any success by rolling out these flat wickets and making batsmen look better than they actually are in reality.

In the last 15 years, India has the best record outside subcontinent among the Asian teams. Teams struggle away from home, and in the last 5 years, this has been the reality for most teams bar SA. Now let me tell you what's different about Bangladesh approach. No matter what the conditions, no matter who the opposition..the best they can do is HOPE FOR A DRAW. This is a team that will pack it's playing 11 with 8 batsmen, nd still get a phainta in every Test, every continent. As a Cricket fan, I find Bangladesh to be a pointless addition in Test Cricket. You may not like it as a Bangladeshi, but the world is sick of the way Bangladesh has approached Test Cricket in the last few years.

First of all I am not Bangladeshi, teams struggling away from home and team unable to win more than one test in a series since 1986 are two different things. When England had its best team it won in India and Australia in multiple tests and when India had its best team it barely scrapped to win single test in a series away from home. Every team goes thru rough times but even when you have your best team the best you can do is scrape a win in single test is just awful record. No Asian team lost 0-4 in consecutive overseas series either, so comparing Indian record to other Asian teams proves nothing as they never get these many chances. Other than being rich due to popularity of sport due to population what has India done on field ever to be a super power. This is the tact Bangladesh should have adopted in 2000s, like in 60s, 70s and 80s draw was considered a win for India. As Sunny always said in those days we first looked to draw the match first then if there was a chance to win we would try to win.Continuous losses sap morale of any team so I don't blame them looking first to draw match against big teams even at home. Bangladesh needs to taste some success and this past world cup was step in right direction. You don't kick out the team which has massive following, they were given test status too early even though they never had any proper first class system.

Please try to be reasonable. Bangladesh plays sporadically compared to teams like India and Sri Lanka who STILL struggle to compete overseas. India, to this day, doesn't have a pace attack with 7x the population and double-triple the per capita GDP that Bangladesh has. We couldn't even pump millions into a pace academy if we wanted to. Remember we haven't even spent 15 years in Test level yet. But with Taskin, Mustafizur, Jubair, in addition to Shakib we will change our "approach" in the near future. You can't fly before you can even walk. India and New Zealand also could only hope to draw matches after 15 years of Test status.

Lets not be harsh, there's some promising talent coming through it looks like, for the Bangles. This taskin kid looked promising in the world cup and so did sarkar. Problem is the pre-mature ejaculating by the immature bang-bro fans just generates so much ill-will...
