shakib_hero Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Mustafizur's cutters have been deceptive, but other than that he has bowled very accurately too. Hardly any rank bad balls, concentrates on bowling out dots. If he can maintain this discipline, he can stick around for many more days.

That's not right. Let him get worked out and smashed and then these statements would make sense. Right now, he seems to run through our lineup in his second spell with old ball in these gripping pitches. Unadkat can't dream of doing what he is doing to be honest.
sensible-indian Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 The biggest advantage of this guy is the way he grips the ball. Even his normal seam up delivery looks like a cutter from the hand. Of course, if he gets worked out, then things may be different. Narine never got worked out in LOI. He was banned for chucking. But this guy doesn't chuck and has a unique grip. Not saying he won't get worked out but its not a surety. You never know. This guy does the basics right.

Khalpat Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Sehwag was missed here. The balls of Mustafizur on which Rohit, Kohli were struggling are the balls Sehwag use to look for. I think unsettling the young bowler by playing big shots from very first over and shuffling your stance regularly like Dada used to do, would have been helpful.

Mystery bowlers are more prone to get sorted out and become ineffective. Taskin and Rubel are safer bets for long term. But as of now, this guys scares us like crazy. :(( :(( :((
