Should be around 5 9 from what i can tell right now. As i said before he is aiming to be an allrounder. I dont think he will be express pace. Whats good to see is that he is trying hard. Yes his father has given him a big advantage in terms of getting access to the best of resources. But as the old adage goes, you can lead a horse to the water but you cant make it drink it. I noticed some comments comparing him to Rohan Gavaskar. Rohan I am afraid tried his hand at cricket too late in his life. He started getting interested when he was 15. Sachin appears not to have made the same mistake and sat down with his son early on and asked him what he wants to do. Rohan also to be fair was not good enough to get into the Mumbai ranji team of the 90s. So he made a wise call and got selected for a weak West Bengal ranji side. I think in the 90s any tome dick and harry could get into that west bengal side. With the rise of Dalmiya and Rohan scoring well for his wB ranji side he got a call to team India. I think Arjun is going to be a lot more physical than his father. Its not as if sons have never worked out. In South africa there are cricketing dynasties. As long as he earns his spot in the line up we should not complain and judge him on his performances. Just cause he is rich he should not be discriminated against. Somebody like Ganguly who comes from a rich family probably did use his father's wealth etc to get himself in the West Bengal ranji team. I think even his brother was in there. Which again highlights how weak WB were back then.

Umesh Yadav first held a leather ball in his hand at the age of 18 when he played for his college in University Cricket.

He transformed Yadav after 2010 when he was Vidarbha coach. Arjun is in good hands if he has been appointed as coach.

Hardly any top class cricketer's children turn out to be even half as good. Even after years of training he looks useless so I don't understand why people care so much. Bieng son of greatest ever batsman he was always going to get attention. He would have got attention in everything in he had chosen. And what years of training and "looking useless" you talking about? He is just 15. Everybody is not Sachin to become a national player at the age of 16.
