the don
Having seen Indian batsmen dominate spin in the past i can't help but notice the frailties of the modern Indian bat against a half decent spinner , yes there are a few good players of spin still but nothing like the times when spin was not even a major factor vs India .What's going wrong ?? mishra
Cos, After Sehwag, Sachin, Dravid gang The last bastsman to come to crease used to be VVS Laxman. Forget abouth them three, Now we havent got a single batsman anyhere near VVS quality. Link to comment
mishra
Apart from Kohli when was last time we heard about opposition bowler giving any respect to any bat of ours? Link to comment
swatpulla
Current T20 brigade is not patient enough. They play spinners with hard hands, which has resulted in their downfall. Link to comment
CoverDrive
green domestic pitches with not enough bounce that don't break. Average spinners also not testing these batsmen. Link to comment
Gollum
Lack of good spinners in domestic matches, green mambas in domestics, annual T20 Circus Leagues, all have had an effect. Worst Indian line up against spin ever. Link to comment
jusarrived
The current A team , I actually rate them better than our main side wrt playing spin . Karun , Pandey & Yadav have extremely good footwork against spin . Karun specifically . Link to comment

I believe lighter bats aid to controlled wrist movement and hand speed/control. Link to comment

Vijy
Because of the paucity of quality domestic spinners in our country. If we had the likes of Kanwaljit Singh (who never played for India), he'd probably be more successful than Ojha and Mishra, if not Ashwin. Link to comment
