Smit Patel and Harmeet Singh were two potential players for WK/Batsman and Spinner. Where both have gone now ? Harmeet was named to be ready for internationals but faded with some fixing case (was cleared later). How they are doing now ? Any idea ?

Even though test cricket is my favrote format, I dont see anyway there's a future for tests in India. These under 19 stars aren't going to be too interested in tests.

I think a big reason for India's decline is due to IPL. I am not downplaying the IPL or anything but let us be honest, the IPL is meant for former and current established Indian players. I believe that a good portion of these young batsman try to master the reverse sweep before they even master the on-drive. IPL gives you instant fame, money and even though a test callup is lucractive, these budding cricketers want to be on the safe side hence they are working harder on their T20 skills. In the same time youngsters in Bangladesh, are focusing a good amount on FC cricket with our new improved structure we will probably over-take you. When the focus will be shifted on FC again, only then will we see India rise again. Just imagine, this was the same country that had such a lineup Gambhir Sehwag Dravid Tendulkar Laxman Dhoni India doesn't lack the talent, never wil. But if some random cricketer named Sarfaraz khan, at the age of 17 will get so much accolades for some end of the innings slogging, then it will "spoil" the youngsters. If I was 17 and I got so much praise for 2-3 cameos why would i want to adorn the Indian test jersey?

Sheldon Jackson' date='Ankush Bains[/quote'] Jackson is semi-regular keeper. Ishan Kishan is really the one to watch out for, if he progresses well in the future.
