BeautifulGame Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Had a knee injury and is going rehabilitation when last heard
HippoSucks Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 He had some major knee surgery and is still rehabilitating. Hopefully he is available by the South Africa series.
Cricket_Hacker Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Read somewhere he will comback in SA home series
rkt.india Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Come back after such a big surgery isn't easy. He shouldn't be hurried and play FC cricket first.
fineleg Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Come back after such a big surgery isn't easy. He shouldn't be hurried and play FC cricket first. Yes he should play a month or two of FC first.
BlueBee Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Come back after such a big surgery isn't easy. He shouldn't be hurried and play FC cricket first. Exactly. It'll be hard and might cost us if we play him in SA series
Vijy Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Exactly. It'll be hard and might cost us if we play him in SA series If he is fit, he's best suited to exploit Indian conditions - that debut match against WI featured some remarkable dismissals.
Bigg Brother Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Unfit shami is still better than lord "Ishant".
Vijy Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Unfit shami is still better than lord "Ishant". If we play 4 bowler attack (or even 4.5 bowler attack), having all of them fit is a must. I would not want Shami in squad unless he is fully fit.
